On behalf of the Hologic WTA Tour, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Transylvania Open for another exciting edition of this tournament in Cluj-Napoca, one of Romania’s most celebrated cities.
As the global leader in women’s sport, the WTA is proud to showcase once again the very best of women’s tennis here in Romania and across all our tournaments in 2024.
The WTA continues to uphold the values of inclusivity, empowerment, and equality, and as one of sport’s few truly global properties, the Hologic WTA Tour will travel to almost 30 nations and regions with over 70 tournaments over the course of the season.
We are excited to join you, our passionate fans, as we watch the season unfold, as rivals battle it out on court, champions are crowned, new talents emerge, and legends are made.
